Since 2021 we have been proud to use a revolutionary dental cleaning technique called Airflow Therapy. This innovative method enhances your oral health with remarkable efficiency and comfort.

Airflow Therapy is a breakthrough technique that improves upon traditional methods. Unlike conventional techniques that rely only on mechanical tools to scrape away plaque & tartar from the tooth, this process effectively cleans teeth by using a powerful yet gentle stream of compressed air, water, and fine powder called Erythritol.

Why Erythritol? Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol derived from plants. Many studies show its benefits to the oral cavity. It can reduce dental plaque and the amount of certain harmful bacteria. This is turn reduces the risk of dental cavities and gum disease.

Controlled by your dental hygienist, the device directs this mixture onto the tooth surfaces, quickly dislodging and removing unwanted accumulations even in hard to reach areas. We are able to remove strains, plaque, biofilm, and other soft deposits without direct contact with the teeth.

This is also referred to as Guided Biofilm Therapy, or GBT. You may ask, what is biofilm? Biofilm is the harmful plaque and bacteria on our teeth and gums. Professional removal by a dental hygienist is the only way to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. If left on the teeth it can harden to become calculus, or tartar. This treatment is safe for all ages and highly recommended by dental hygienists and dentists.
