Larissa Figari-Goller, DDS, MAGD, FICOI
Larissa Figari-Goller, DDS, MAGD, FICOI, received her education as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from SUNY at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Figari-Goller then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital and then was selected and completed a 2 year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. She focused intensely on advanced treatment planning and dental care. Her education has not stopped- she graduated from the Kois Center and since has become a Mentor of the Kois Center.
She continues to integrate and apply the highest level of dentistry that is driven by the clinical application and the scientific evidence that supports it. After achieving her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and she then went on to achieve her Mastership in the AGD. She was recognized for having well over 1,100 continuing education hours in specific general dentistry disciplines.
She has been trained in CEREC®, Itero®, 3Shape® and Planscan® and Invisalign®. Huntington Bay Dental has been known as being on the cutting edge of all dental technology. Dr. Figari-Goller has trained and has worked with sleep apnea specialists in our area in the fabrication of oral sleep appliances to assist in treating sleep apnea and as a replacement to the CPAP machine for many patients.
Dr. Figari-Goller has extensive oral surgery background, including dental extractions as well as implant surgery. In 2011, she became a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Figari-Goller treats patients who fear even walking into the dental office by working hard to make each and every patient feel comfortable. She takes the time to work with these patients individually based on their specific needs. Dr. Figari-Goller is experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. Her goal is to give each patient the best treatment all under one roof- she is not just a General Dentist but one that has designed her education after dental school to take care of all her patients’ needs.
Dr. Figari-Goller is currently working on her Masters in Public Health at Stony Brook so that she can continue to educate and provide dentistry nationally and internationally. She has traveled to Nicaragua, Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, the Philippines, Haiti, and Peru to provide dental treatment to patients in need and is always looking for somewhere else to make a difference in the care of patients. During the pandemic, she missed doing this type of work and, after years of being involved with the Dentists for A Better Huntington, she was elected as the Vice President. This charity organization assists people with need in and around the Huntington Township. She leads other dentist members, along with industry partners and other donors, and collaborates in raising funds to support local charities that serve the Huntington community.
In 2011, Dr. Figari-Goller established herself as a partner at Huntington Bay Dental and has been working with the team at Huntington Bay Dental to continue to provide patients with the best dental care around.
She is a member of several professional organizations: American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society, Master in Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, & Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a mentor at the prestigious Kois Center.
Dr. Figari-Goller was born, raised and resides on Long Island. She appreciates being near the water, traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. She loves doing all these activities with her two boys and husband.
