Julie DeSimone-Larsen, DMD, FAGD, FICOI, DipACLM, is a distinguished dentist dedicated to providing exceptional dental care. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2006, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. DeSimone-Larsen furthered her expertise through a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital, where she was later selected for their prestigious two-year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. This intensive program focused on the placement and restoration of dental implants, comprehensive treatment planning, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. DeSimone-Larsen became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2011, she holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Kois graduate. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Suffolk County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

In 2021, Dr. DeSimone-Larsen earned Diplomat status with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. This specialty focuses on using evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic interventions—such as a whole-food, plant-predominant diet, regular physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and positive social connections—to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic diseases.

Outside the office, Dr. DeSimone-Larsen enjoys spending quality time with her family in Northport, where she lives with her husband and their three children. A passionate New York sports fan and decade-long fantasy football player, she also loves cooking, reading, music, and yoga, proudly completing over 1000 Peloton classes. Dr. DeSimone-Larsen’s diverse interests and dedication to both her professional and personal life make her a well-rounded and compassionate dentist.
