Adamo Notarantonio
DDS, FICOI, FAACD
Dr. Adamo Notarantonio, a distinguished graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, received honors in both removable and fixed prosthodontics in 2002. Following his graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Stony Brook in 2003 and was selected by the faculty to serve a second year as Chief Resident.
In 2011, Dr. Adamo achieved accreditation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and he earned Fellowship status in 2018. He was the first Accredited Fellow in New York State and the 80th person worldwide to receive this prestigious honor. Dr. Adamo is the current President of the AACD, he acts as a consultant and examiner for the Accreditation and Fellowship processes and is also the Fellowship Chairman.
A graduate of the Kois Center, where he studied under Dr. John Kois, Dr. Adamo has also completed The Dawson Academy Core Curriculum. He holds a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has been published in numerous dental journals. He is a sought-after lecturer, speaking nationally and internationally on topics such as CAD/CAM dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, composite dentistry, and dental photography.
In July, Dr. Adamo joined the prestigious faculty at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, becoming only the sixth faculty member selected since the Center’s inception in 1994. This esteemed position will have him in Seattle for several weeks throughout the year.
Dr. Adamo is an avid golfer and is fluent in Italian, balancing his professional achievements with personal passions.
