From Field Hockey to Dentistry:

The Journey of
Dr. Larissa and Dr. Jules

Dr. Jules DeSimone-Larsen and Dr. Larissa Figari-Goller share a unique journey that began years ago on the field hockey field, long before they became colleagues in dentistry. They met at field hockey camp in 1996. Then in the summer of 1999, home from college, Jules took a summer job in her dentist’s office. Who should come in as a patient, but Larissa! From then on, their dentist kept tabs on both of them.

Their paths crossed again during their dental residency in 2006, where they were both selected to be the two implant and prosthodontic fellows in a rigorous two-year program. This shared experience laid the foundation for a strong professional bond and a vision for the future.

Dr. Larissa began her journey with Huntington Bay Dental part-time in 2008, while they were finishing up residency. She became a partner in 2011. Meanwhile, Dr. Jules managed her own practice on the South Shore. As Dr. Jules’s family grew and she planted roots in Northport, she took a part-time position at Huntington Bay Dental in 2015. In 2019, the opportunity to join forces full-time presented itself, and Dr. Jules sold her practice to fully dedicate herself to Huntington Bay Dental.

Today, Dr. Larissa and Dr. Jules proudly lead Huntington Bay Dental as partners. Their commitment to the community is unwavering, as they both live locally and are deeply involved in raising their families here. Together, they bring a blend of compassionate care, personalized treatment, and professional excellence to every patient they serve.
